Optimize Thyself (AKA Happy Brain) is an 8-hour course in Mindfulness-Based Mental Resilience (MBMR) taught by Julie Rumrill, a university professor and professional mindfulness instructor.
When: four consecutive Fridays - September 13, 20, 27 and October 4 Time: Each session runs from 7-9pm Where: The creamery at Fort Hill Farms Cost: $75/person (includes all four sessions)
This experiential workshop series helps participants develop skill and incorporate mindfulness-based practices into their lives. Each week, we will explore Mindfulness practices and topics related to self-awareness and mental resilience including:
- Physiology and the Breath
- Stress and the Body’s Response
- Reacting versus Responding
- Effective Communication
