Celebrating the 85th anniversary of Thompson Speedway

We’re excited to honor the “legendairy” history of Thompson Speedway and Fort Hill Farms.

Discover the fascinating story of how the speedway was originally a dairy farm before the 1938 Long Island Express Hurricane reshaped its destiny.

Do you want to read about some of the most famous Thompson racecar drivers?  Then course over to the Fort Hill Farms Maze!

  • Speedway Main Maze – Solve puzzles and do rubbings while learning about Thompson Speedway.  Takes about 90 minutes to complete
  • Checkered Flag Labyrinth – No one gets lost in this mini maze, which has only one way in and one way out.  Quick and easy for everyone.  Takes about 30 minutes to complete.
  • Flashlight Nights – Enjoy the maze under the stars!  Bring a sweatshirt as it gets cold when the sun goes down.

$15/person – Choice of walks are:

  • Maple Grove – shady
  • Blue Spruce Grove – in high sun
  • Oak Grove  – by the lake
